Part-Time Trainee Valeter

We are delighted to be recruiting for 2 x part-time Vehicle Valeter to join a well-established and successful client based in Hatfield. This is a temp to perm role offering an hourly rate of £12.71, with any overtime paid at the standard hourly rate. Shift Pattern A (2 Weekly Shift Pattern) Week 1 • 07:30 – 17:00 Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (1 hour for lunch OR 2 x 15 min breaks and 30mins for lunch) Week 2 • 07:30 – 17:00 Thursday & Friday (1 hour for lunch OR 2 x 15 min breaks and 30mins for lunch) • 07:30 – 12:00 Saturday (15 min break) Shift Pattern B (2 Weekly Shift Pattern) Week 1 • 07:30 – 17:00 Thursday & Friday (1 hour for lunch OR 2 x 15 min breaks and 30mins for lunch) • 07:30 – 12:00 Saturday (15 min break) Week 2 • 07:30 – 17:00 Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (1 hour for lunch OR 2 x 15 min breaks and 30mins for lunch) Full training will be provided and although the role will be based at Hatfield, the successful candidate may be required to work in another Hertfordshire based site on occasions. Duties include: • Work closely with different teams to ensure that the following can be completed • Cleaning vehicles • Assisting staff with check-ins and check-outs • 6-weekly vehicle checks on all vehicles • Keeping yard and work area tidy and free of obstructions • Ensuring stock of consumables is maintained • Preparing vehicles for sale • Handing over sales vehicles to customers • Backup for driving/ deliveries/ collections/ moving vehicles between depots Skills / Attributes • Keen to learn – training will be provided • Flexible • Proactive • Good communication skills • Full manual driving licence Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
