Job description

Partnerships Lead Mostly remote with 2 x visits to Bristol each month We're working with a fast-growing business who are on the search for a Partnerships Lead to take ownership of one of its most important growth channels. The role can be mostly remote with visits to Bristol 2 x per month. This is a high-impact commercial role with responsibility for driving customer acquisition, revenue growth and profitability through a portfolio of strategic partnerships. You'll own the commercial performance of established partner relationships while identifying opportunities to optimise, expand and unlock new sources of growth. The key requirement is recent, hands-on experience in B2C finance partnerships, ideally from a high growth (and margin conscious) environment such as digital financial marketplaces and lead generators. This is fundamentally a commercial role along with relationship management one. Beyond building and managing distribution partnerships (and affiliates) the person needs to be analytically strong - actively optimising partnerships for growth and LTV, and comfortable making sound financial decisions under pressure. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with exceptional relationship-building skills, using data and insight to shape strategy, improve performance and deliver measurable business results. The Role As Partnerships Lead, you'll be responsible for the commercial success of a portfolio of strategic partners, managing relationships from launch through to optimisation and growth. You'll develop and execute partnership strategies that support wider business objectives, working closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, product, legal and data teams to ensure partnerships deliver maximum value. This role offers significant ownership and visibility, with direct accountability for partnership revenue, margin and growth targets. Key Responsibilities • Own partnership revenue, margin and growth targets across an active portfolio of strategic partners • Develop and execute partnership strategies that drive customer acquisition and commercial performance • Analyse performance data to identify opportunities, address challenges and maximise return on investment • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key partners, developing joint commercial plans and growth initiatives • Structure and negotiate commercial agreements that create value for all parties • Work closely with data teams to ensure reporting is accurate, meaningful and supports informed decision-making • Lead partnership launches and cross-functional projects, ensuring smooth delivery from agreement through to implementation • Collaborate with marketing, product and legal teams to optimise partner propositions and customer outcomes • Manage and develop partnership team members, providing coaching and support as the function grows • Contribute to wider commercial strategy and business growth initiatives About You We're looking for an experienced commercial partnerships professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. You'll bring: • Significant experience building and managing strategic partnerships within financial services, fintech, comparison platforms or another high-growth sector • A strong commercial mindset, with experience managing revenue, margin, customer acquisition and return on investment metrics • Proven ability to translate data and insight into commercial strategy and actionable recommendations • Confidence working cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, product, legal and data teams • Understanding of the FCA regulatory environment and the importance of delivering good customer outcomes What's on Offer? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation where partnerships play a critical role in business success. You'll have the autonomy to shape strategy, influence growth and make a measurable commercial impact while working with a collaborative and ambitious team.
