About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Single Corporate Services Patient Outcomes team as a Patient Outcomes Officer. This role sits within a collaborative service working across Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and Isle of Wight NHS Trust, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes across both organisations. As part of this shared corporate service, occasional travel between sites may be required in line with service needs and the staff mobility agreement. Reporting to the Head of Patient Outcomes and accountable to the Associate Director of Quality Governance, you will play a key role in ensuring both Trusts meet their legal and regulatory requirements relating to patient outcomes. Working closely with clinical, operational and corporate teams at all levels, you will support the delivery of a wide portfolio of patient outcomes projects. This includes contributing to organisational assurance, performance monitoring and continuous improvement through the effective monitoring, triangulation and reporting of patient outcomes data to inform decision-making. About You We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and organisational skills to support the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes. You will demonstrate: • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle complex and sensitive information. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities when working with data and multiple information sources. • The ability to prioritise and manage competing demands effectively. • Confidence working both independently and collaboratively across teams and organisations. • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and data management tools • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting service improvement and governance.
