Payroll Advisor

Job Summary Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a Manufacturer based in Warrington who are looking for a Payroll Advisor to join them on a Permanent basis. Key Duties/Tasks: • To provide comprehensive advice to customers and directors in relation to payroll queries • Support the processing and running of the end to end weekly payroll • Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers • Ensuring current payroll legislation knowledge is up to date and in line with HMRC, with procedures updated accordingly. • Strong Excel The role: • Payroll Advisor to process a weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple sites • Set up and pay new starters • Process leavers and applicable termination payments • Calculate Redundancy payments • Calculate and pay SMP, SPP, SSP and sick pay • Deal with payroll queries Benefits This is a business with excellent benefits including: • Hybrid working • 33 days basic annual leave entitlement (includes public holidays) employees will accrue an additional day holiday for every two complete years in service to a maximum of 10 years. • Purchase or sell a maximum of 5 days per holiday year. • Private healthcare • Flexible working hours • Flexi-scheme with standard core working hours • Cycle to work • Eyecare vouchers • Reward and recognition scheme 51889JT INDPAYN The Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position.
