Job description

Payroll / HR Administrator £16.82 – £18.26 per hour (DOE) Remote working with occasional travel to London office (Paddington) – approximately once a month Standard full time office hours, Monday to Friday (day shift) – 37.5/40 hours per week. Temporary Ongoing We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a small and busy operations team within a highly respected organisation. The successful candidate will take ownership of payroll activities while also providing support across HR administration and employee benefits. This role requires someone with strong payroll expertise, excellent attention to detail, and confidence managing processes independently within a small team environment. Although the role is primarily remote, occasional attendance at the organisation’s London office in Paddington will be required (approximately once a month). Key Responsibilities • Manage and process end-to-end payroll activities accurately and efficiently • Use SAP payroll systems to complete payroll processing and resolve queries (SAP payroll experience is essential) • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure payroll data is up to date • Process pension contributions and liaise with pension providers • Act as a point of contact for employee payroll queries • Support the administration of employee benefits, including communication with external benefit providers • Provide general HR administration support across the employee lifecycle • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information • Support continuous improvement of payroll and HR processes within a small operations team About You • Proven experience in payroll administration with strong end-to-end payroll knowledge • Hands-on experience using SAP Payroll (essential) • Experience processing pensions and working with benefits providers • Previous exposure to HR administration activities • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills • The ability to handle confidential information professionally • Good communication skills with the confidence to liaise with employees and external providers *A Level 3 CIPD qualification would be highly desirable but is not essential* If you’re interested in this position and have the correct experience for this role - please apply now with an up to date CV.
