Stratford-upon-Avon (Hybrid)
9-Month Contract
£150 - £175 per day (Inside IR35)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer to join one of our leading clients on a 9-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy payroll team supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.
The role is predominantly remote, with one day per week required in the Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire office.
Key Responsibilities
• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Input and maintain payroll records, including new starters, leavers and contractual changes.
• Manually calculate statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, as well as PAYE, National Insurance and holiday pay.
• Administer employee benefits, salary sacrifice schemes and third-party payments.
• Ensure payroll complies with current HMRC legislation and tax coding requirements.
• Support payroll reconciliations, including year-end processes and statutory reporting.
• Provide a high level of customer service when responding to payroll-related queries.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Previous payroll processing experience within a busy payroll environment.
• Experience using payroll systems such as Resourcelink, SAP, or similar payroll software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, including tax codes, PAYE and statutory payments.
• Experience administering employee benefits, salary sacrifice arrangements and third-party deductions.
• Experience supporting payroll reconciliations and year-end payroll activities.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
