PCCU Senior Sister

The post holder will act as Senior Sister/Charge Nurse. He/she will be required to: Be an effective leader and role model and regularly take charge of the Unit, ensuring that the standards and quality of care given to patients, together with the environment in which care is delivered, are maintained at a high standard. Provide regular direct clinical care and utilise experience to support the implementation of both clinical and nonclinical governance. Support and lead a cohort of Band 6 and 5 nurses and members of the admin team, carrying out yearly appraisals and ensuring staff training is up to date.
