TO carry out complex technical pharmacy processes with a high level of accuracy, including detailed calculations, documentation checks, and quality assurance activities to support safe preparation workflows. TO maintain required specialist competencies for aseptic practice, supporting compliance with validation standards, controlled environment procedures, and safe handling requirements for specialist medicines. TO process medication requests and prescriptions accurately, maintaining complete records, supporting stock control processes, and ensuring medicines information is recorded through appropriate systems. TO undertake specialist dispensing activities involving clinical trials, unlicensed medicines, chemotherapy-related products, and emergency supplies while adhering to defined procedures and documentation requirements. TO contribute to workforce development by assisting with the training, guidance, and supervision of pharmacy staff, students, and colleagues while maintaining continued professional learning. TO support the effective running of pharmacy services by identifying opportunities for improvement, using resources responsibly, complying with safety requirements, and contributing to risk reduction activities.
