Your clinical work will cover: • Medical and physical management of spasticity including splinting and serial casting • Complex postural management • Disorders of consciousness • Assessment for and provision of orthotics • Hydrotherapy • Use of specialist equipment e.g. the Lite-Gait overhead walking harness and treadmill; Quest electric standing frames; standard and motomed exercise bikes and tilt tables • Management of Behaviours that Challenge • Tracheostomy management and weaning • Patient centred goal setting Managerially you will: • Take a pro-active and supportive role in service development • Provide supervision and appraisal for team members • Deliver both local in-service and more formal training • Be involved in centre wide initiatives You will receive excellent clinical support and supervision with a commitment to your ongoing training and development.
