Job description

Job Purpose Repairs planner; managing direct labour and supply chain works and front line customer contact To provide an efficient planning and scheduling service for repairs, maintenance, and property-related activities across Sutton Housing Partnership's housing stock. The Planner is responsible for coordinating appointments, allocating resources, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that services are delivered effectively while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a team of two individuals to manage the DLO and supply chain and drive productivity of operatives and maintain a high level of communication with our customers. Responsibilities Planning and Scheduling • Schedule responsive repairs, void works, planned maintenance, and inspection appointments • Allocate work to operatives and contractors based on skills, availability, location, and priority • Optimise daily schedules to maximise productivity and minimise travel time • Monitor work queues and adjust schedules to meet service targets and performance standards • Ensure emergency and urgent repairs are prioritised appropriately Customer Service • Act as a key point of contact for residents regarding repair appointments and service updates • Communicate appointment details, changes, and delays in a professional and timely manner • Resolve scheduling issues and customer queries efficiently • Support the delivery of excellent customer service in line with SHP standards Performance Monitoring • Track and monitor progress of jobs from initial request through to completion • Maintain accurate records using housing management and scheduling systems • Produce reports and performance information as required • Identify scheduling conflicts, delays, or operational issues and escalate where necessary
