Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plasterer to join a well-established contractor carrying out repairs and maintenance works to social housing domestic properties across Daventry. This is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work with the opportunity to join a busy team delivering high-quality plastering repairs and property maintenance projects. The role involves working on occupied and void social housing properties across Daventry, carrying out a variety of internal plastering repairs and finishing works to maintain and improve domestic properties. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out all aspects of plastering including skimming, patch plastering, float and set, and bonding • Complete repairs to damaged walls and ceilings following maintenance works • Prepare surfaces by removing loose material, applying bonding agents, and ensuring a high-quality finish • Undertake rendering repairs where required • Carry out minor dry lining and plasterboard repairs • Ensure all plastering work is completed to a high standard within occupied and void domestic properties • Work safely and effectively while maintaining a clean and tidy work area • Liaise professionally with tenants and site management throughout the works • Complete work in line with health and safety regulations and company standards Requirements: • To have your own van • To have your own tools • Previous experience working as a Plasterer • Experience in skimming, patch plastering, rendering, and general plastering repairs • Experience working within social housing or domestic properties is desirable • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: • Ongoing self-employed work • Monday to Friday working • Weekly pay (CIS payments available) • Opportunity to secure long-term work with a reputable contractor If you're interested in this Plasterer role, please apply online or call Alex on .
