Platform Administrator
Nationwide | Based from Any Office Location
Salary: Up to £35,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Platform Administrator to join a growing and dynamic financial services business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong provider platform knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional support to advisers and colleagues across the business. Reporting to the Platform Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation, governance and ongoing development of platform processes across the group.
The Role
As Platform Administrator, you will support the day-to-day management and oversight of platform activity, ensuring processes run efficiently and accurately while providing first-class support to advisers, paraplanners and administrators.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong technical capability and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support platform migrations and onboard new client assets
• Respond to queries from advisers, paraplanners and administrators across the group
• Manage issues, escalations and development requests, liaising with platform relationship managers to ensure timely resolution
• Handle complex submissions, including trusts, corporate accounts, bonds and deceased cases
• Create and amend investment models
• Process manual trades and fund conversions
• Produce platform reports and validate data accuracy
• Submit asset and fund availability requests
• Assist with complaints handling and error resolution
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date platform resources and documentation on the intranet
• Set up and manage staff platform access and permissions
• Coordinate platform maintenance requirements
• Handle AML and bank verification queries
• Liaise with third-party providers and discretionary fund managers
• Monitor and manage team mailboxes
• Support ad hoc projects and platform development initiatives as required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
• Previous experience within the IFA market and working with provider platforms, with a minimum of three years' experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads independently
• Confidence in identifying and escalating issues where appropriate
• Strong IT and systems capability
• The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems
• Excellent time management skills and a reliable, professional approach
