The role is predominantly hands-on and offers scope to become a go-to engineer in your specialist area while broadening your experience across the wider platform stack. • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform • Support containerised services using Docker and Kubernetes • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation • Troubleshoot Linux-based production environments and improve reliability • Own defined areas of delivery and contribute to technical decisions • Share knowledge, onboard colleagues and support less experienced engineers PLATFORM ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS • Commercial Platform Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience • Hands-on AWS experience in a production environment • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform • Strong Linux knowledge, including troubleshooting and scripting • Experience with Git and modern software delivery practices • Exposure to containers, CI/CD and automation tooling • Clear communication and a willingness to support and share knowledge with others Candidates must be willing and eligible to obtain SC clearance.
