Playworker Manager - Breakfast & After School Club | Primary School | Southwark | September Start Location: Southwark, South East London Start Date: September Working Hours: Monday-Friday • Breakfast Club: 8:00am-9:00am • After School Club: 3:30pm-5:45pm Pay: £18-£20 per hour Contract: Long-Term Agency: SANZA Teaching Agency Are you an experienced childcare professional looking for a rewarding leadership role in a friendly primary school? SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated and organised Playworker Manager to oversee the breakfast and after school club at a welcoming primary school in Southwark from September. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone with a passion for creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can thrive before and after the school day. The Role As Playworker Manager, you will: • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the breakfast and after school club. • Plan and deliver a range of fun, creative and inclusive activities for primary-aged children. • Ensure the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of all pupils in your care. • Supervise and support playworkers, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and school staff. • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare policies are followed at all times. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: • Holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential). • Has previous experience working in a breakfast club, after school club, nursery or similar childcare setting. • Has experience leading or supervising a team. • Is enthusiastic, reliable and highly organised. • Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills. • Is committed to providing high-quality childcare in a fun and supportive environment.
