The OpportunityWe are recruiting a Communications & Engagement Office for a well-established organisation operating within a business-focused environment.
This is not a traditional marketing, PR, social media or content creation role.

The successful candidate will help analyse policy developments, gather insight from stakeholders and communicate complex information in a clear and engaging way to a professional audience.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine policy, research, stakeholder engagement and communications within a highly visible position.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and analyse policy, legislative and regulatory developments.
• Produce clear and engaging communications, reports, briefings and updates.
• Gather feedback and intelligence from stakeholders to identify emerging issues and opportunities.
• Support policy development, consultation responses and research projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses, stakeholders and external partners.
• Coordinate and support stakeholder events, forums and engagement activities.
• Conduct research and present findings in a meaningful and accessible format.
• Represent the organisation at meetings, events and networking activities.
• Support wider projects and initiatives that influence and support organisational objectives.

Essential Experience
• Experience within policy, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, research or communications.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex information.
• Experience building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
Desirable Experience
• Experience within a membership organisation, trade association, professional body, public sector or business support environment.
• Experience producing policy briefings, consultation responses or research reports.
• Understandi
