Job description

Portfolio Analyst (Real Estate) - London We are recruiting for a £5bn Property firm based in London, with a commercial portfolio across the UK. They are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join their Asset Management function, aiding in the execution of their investment strategy. This role involves collaborating with the Director of Asset Management on various tasks such as investment transactions, market analysis, acquisition underwriting, due diligence, forecasting, and budgeting. Key Responsibilities: • The Portfolio Analyst will support the analytical work of the portfolio team, focused on portfolio management, rental and capital value analysis, performance reporting and wider analytical support. • Key responsibilities include undertaking forward-looking IRR analysis across existing portfolio assets on a bi-annual basis, producing ad-hoc scenario analysis on asset and portfolio returns, and managing the annual MSCI data submission. The postholder will also analyse MSCI outputs, segment performance data and report key findings. • The role will involve reviewing rental performance across the portfolio, benchmarking rental outcomes following reviews, and monitoring the KPI performance of external rental agents. • A key part of the role will be building and managing Tableau, or similar, dashboards to track rental and capital value movements, identify areas of under or over-performance, and explain the drivers behind results.
