Job description

We are partnered with a high-performing boutique private equity firm with an outstanding track record in capital raising and a strong reputation across the market. As the platform continues to scale, they are seeking a Portfolio Monitoring and Finance Associate. This is a broad, analytically focused role sitting at the intersection of finance, investment and operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious non-investment-focused portfolio analyst to deepen their experience within a high-quality private equity platform. The role offers genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to develop a strong understanding of fund structures and underlying investments. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will be hands-on with a range of analytical tasks, including collating and analysing portfolio company data, supporting valuation processes, contributing to performance analysis and assisting with ESG reporting, as well as picking up ad hoc requests from across the business. There will also be involvement in maintaining and improving reporting tools and dashboards, helping the team access clear portfolio insights quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have around 3–5 years of experience in an analytical role with exposure to Private Markets. Strong academic credentials are important, alongside advanced Excel capability and a genuine enthusiasm for working in a commercially driven, fast-paced private equity environment. The firm is offering a competitive base salary, strong bonus potential and an attractive benefits package. Their modern offices are based in central London. They have a hybrid working model.
