Location: Upton Delivery Office, CH49 9AA Job type: Permanent contract Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available. Working hours: 30:00hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 10:00/17:00* Looking for a delivery driver job where you can stay active, connected to your community, and enjoy great benefits? You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand. You’ll be required to work one in three Sundays at Upton Delivery Office 10:30/16:30 What you’ll do • Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office • Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area • Build relationships with customers • Work outdoors in all weathers You’ll deliver more than just mail: exam results, birthday cards, business orders, and moments that matter.** It's not always easy – but it’s always rewarding. You’ll need: • A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address) • Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment • Physically fit and comfortable walkinglong distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags • Reliable and self-motivated • Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment • Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service • Comfortable working outdoors and independently What’s in it for you?
