Location: Durham Delivery Office, DH1 1SE Job type: Fixed Term contract 6 Months Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available. Working hours: 25:00hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 3pm Monday to Saturday. 1pm on Sunday/8pm Monday to Saturday. 6pm on Sunday* Looking for a delivery driver job where you can stay active, connected to your community, and enjoy great benefits? You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand. You’ll be required to work Sundays as per the rota. You’ll need: • A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address) • Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment • Physically fit and comfortable walkinglong distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags • Reliable and self-motivated • Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment • Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service • Comfortable working outdoors and independently What’s in it for you?
