Job description

Powder Blending Manager Yolk Recruitment are supporting a leading manufacturer in their search for an experienced Powder Blending Manager. This is a key operational leadership role overseeing powder blending activities within a high-performing production environment. The role is ideal for someone with strong powder processing or bulk materials experience who can lead teams, drive efficiency, and ensure consistent product quality and compliance. You will take full responsibility for the blending area, managing a team of operators and technicians while ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of blending processes alongside proven leadership skills within a regulated manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day powder blending operations to meet production targets and quality standards • Ensure blending processes deliver consistent product quality, homogeneity, and specification compliance • Optimise processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance cost-effectiveness • Lead, coach, and develop blending operators and technicians, promoting a strong safety culture • Oversee equipment use, maintenance scheduling, and troubleshooting to minimise downtime • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, BRC, FDA, and ISO standards • Monitor raw materials and finished goods inventory to maintain accurate stock control • Analyse production data and implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations • Support new product introduction and formulation scale-up activities This is what you'll need: • Experience in powder processing, blending, or bulk material handling • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within manufacturing • Level 3 HACCP qualification And this is what you'll get: • Competitive salary • Death in service • Long service rewards
