Power BI Developer - 4 days per week Location: London (2 days onsite) Contract Length: 3 months IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Rate: £325 - £369 Start Date: Mid July OverviewWe're looking for a Power BI Developer to join a growing public sector data team. The role will focus on delivering a suite of dashboards as part of a wider transformation from Excel-based reporting into a more scalable Azure and Power BI-driven data environment. This is a strong opportunity to get in early within a scaling data function and contribute to improving how data is used to drive decision-making across public services. Key Responsibilities • Build and deliver Power BI dashboards based on stakeholder requirements • Translate existing Excel-based reporting into scalable Power BI solutions • Operate within a 2-week sprint cycle alongside a growing data team • Collaborate with architecture and service design teams • Identify opportunities to improve reporting beyond "lift and shift" dashboards • Deliver dashboards aligned to social housing and local authority data Skills & Experience • Strong experience developing dashboards in Power BI • Experience working with multiple data sources (Excel, databases, etc.) • Ability to gather and translate stakeholder requirements into deliverables • Experience delivering reporting in structured project or sprint environments • Understanding of data transformation and reporting best practices Industry Experience • Public sector experience • Experience working with local authorities • Smaller start up environments a plus
