The Practice Manager provides senior operational and performance leadership for the multidisciplinary AHP workforce, with clear ownership for how services run and how they improve. The role exists to ensure teams are highperforming, accountable, and productive, delivering excellent patient care within clear financial, capacity, and productivity frameworks. Operating at pace, the Practice Manager takes a proactive, solutionsfocused approach, spotting issues early, making confident decisions, and bringing resolutions rather than escalations. Youll balance strategic thinking with handson operational grip, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement. This is a role for a commercially minded, detailoriented leader who works autonomously, partners effectively with senior and clinical leaders, and owns outcomes with minimal oversight. Key relationships • Operations Director direct line manager; strategic oversight. • Partners senior leadership; practice-wide strategic alignment. • Clinical Supervisors & AHP Team Leads collaborative partners providing professional and clinical oversight. • Multidisciplinary Teams Physician Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, Nursing team, and other AHPs. • Head of People & Performance collaboration on training, development, and performance. • Hiring & Recruitment Teams joint work on staffing, onboarding, and induction. • GPs & Clinical Leads coordination of workflows, escalation pathways, and wider workforce integration.
