Job description

Are you a skilled Accountant ready for a leadership role? We are seeking a proactive Accountant to join our client's friendly, expanding practice in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. As part of a supportive regional network, you’ll receive the training and support needed to lead and manage this office. Why this Practice? This Practice has been established for over 100 years and has offices across the Midlands & Warwickshire. They value their teams and offer some pretty impressive benefits which include a 34 hour working week (12.30pm finish on a Friday), flexible hours and hybrid working (3 days in). They also offer a supportive environment where you are able to access the resources of a large network while enjoying the "boutique" feel of a local office. Other benefits include 25 days holiday (+8 Bank Holidays), full study support (ACA/ACCA), and a clear path to management. Your Impact We are looking for someone to manage the Stratford-upon-Avon office. You might already be an established manager or you might be a Senior Accountant ready to move into a managerial role with the full support of partners in nearby offices. You would act as the primary advisor for a diverse portfolio, guiding them through tax treatments and year-end accounts, also taking a technical lead and reviewing team output and using your expertise to reconstruct financial information from incomplete records. Naturally you would reinforce and expand the practice's presence in the Stratford-upon-Avon business community. What You Bring • Proven experience in a UK accountancy practice (essential). • Strong technical grip on Self-Assessment and unincorporated tax rules. • Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, CCH, or similar cloud software. • ACA/ACCA qualification (or nearly there!). What now? If you are already studying ACA or ACCA in an Accountancy Practice, or are Qualified by Experience, and are ready to manage your own office please apply straight away or contact us directly.
