Practice Nurse

• Deliver a range of nursing services including health assessments, screening, treatment, chronic disease management, vaccinations and immunisations. • Provide health promotion, patient education and advice on minor illnesses. • Undertake cervical screening, wound care, dressings and specimen collection, including phlebotomy where appropriately trained. • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using the practice's electronic patient record system. • Ensure clinical equipment and treatment rooms are maintained to a high standard and that stock levels are monitored. • Support infection prevention and control, safeguarding, and health and safety policies. • Participate in clinical audits, team meetings and quality improvement initiatives. • Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care.
