Pre-School Room Leader Location: City of London - currently based in Barbican, relocating to a brand-new Shoreditch site Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are working with a well-established, high-quality private nursery group in Central London that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Pre-School Room Leader. About the Role As a Pre-School Room Leader, you will take full responsibility for leading and managing a busy pre-school room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, anddevelopment for children aged 3-5 years. You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum, mentoring staff, and creating an engaging and stimulating environment that supports every child's individual development. Key Responsibilities • Lead, motivate and support a team of practitioners within the pre-school room • Plan and deliver a creative, play-based curriculum in line with the EYFS framework • Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and updates • Ensure the room meets all safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements • Contribute to the overall ethos and continuous improvement of the nursery Requirements • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above) • Proven experience working within a nursery setting, ideally in a senior or room leader capacity • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills • A genuine passion for early childhood education and delivering high-quality care What's on Offer • Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per year (depending on experience) • Opportunity to be part of an exciting nursery relocation project to a modern, purpose-built setting • Supportive management team and clear career progression pathways • Ongoing training and professional development This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner or aspiring leader whowants to be part of an innovative and growing nursery group in Central London.
