Precision Sewing Technician - Various Shifts

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Technicians to support our clients continued growth within an innovative medical device manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly specialised team working in a clean room environment, contributing to the sewing and assembly of Transcatheter Heart Valves. The role is ideally suited to candidates with excellent manual dexterity, strong attention to detail, and experience in sewing, crafts, embroidery, or other precision-based work. Precision Sewing TechnicianLocation: Leeds Salary: £28,500 per year + shift allowance on afternoons Hours: Monday to Friday - mornings OR afternoons - no rotation Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Key Responsibilities • Use needles, scissors, forceps, microscopes, and specialised tooling to complete valve sewing and assembly tasks. • Carry out quality checks on your own work and that of colleagues against specifications and defined standards. • Complete all tasks in line with work instructions, GMP, and documentation procedures. • Accurately record traceable manufacturing information within DHRs. • Support wider manufacturing and operational activities as required. • Follow all health, safety, environmental, and clean room procedures. Skills & Experience Required • Previous experience in sewing, arts & crafts, embroidery, or other high-dexterity work is essential. • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to use small hand tools. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions. • Good communication and documentation skills. • Basic computer literacy. • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. • Experience within manufacturing, GMP, clean room, or medical device environments would be advantageous.
