Sheet Metal Worker - Press Brake Setter Operator Press Brake Setter / Operator role in Harlow | Mon to Fri 08:00-16:30 | £15.00-£18.00 p/hr DOE | Overtime at time and a half. Role overview: We are recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Press Brake Setter Operator to join a busy engineering workshop in Harlow on a temp to perm or permanent basis. The ideal candidate would be looking for a stable day-shift role with regular overtime opportunities, producing quality sheet metal components to drawing. Key responsibilities: • Set up and operate press brake machines (tooling selection, changes, setting bends/angles) • Work from engineering drawings/work instructions to produce parts to specification • Complete first-off, in-process and final quality checks using measuring equipment • Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all health & safety procedures • Support production targets and continuous improvement Essential skills & experience (required): • Proven hands-on experience using press brake machines (setup and operation) • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Confident with measuring tools and checking tolerances • Strong attention to detail and a quality-first approach • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team Pay, overtime & hours: • Pay rate: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour (DOE) • Overtime available at time and a half • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 HRGO Recruitment offers permanent and temporary jobs across the UK.
