We're recruiting Press Machine Operators for a fixed-term summer project with a leading manufacturer in Ledbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced production team, helping to keep machines running efficiently and supporting the overall production process during a busy period. The Role As a Press Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping. What You'll Be Doing Operating press machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently Keeping machines running and responding to minor stoppages where possible Monitoring production output and reporting any issues to the Team Leader Carrying out basic quality checks on finished products Assisting with machine set-ups and product changeovers Following production schedules to meet daily targets Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Supporting colleagues across the production area as required What We're Looking For Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment preferred Experience operating machinery or press machines is advantageous Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends What You'll Gain Experience working within a busy manufacturing operation Competitive hourly pay Full training provided Supportive team environment Valuable production and machine operating experience An excellent addition to your CV The Details Pay: £15.31 per hour Bonus: £40 per week attendance bonus (Paid at the end of the project) Contract: Fixed-term summer project (until end of August) Hours: Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:00 Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00 Apply Now Ready to earn great money this summer while gaining valuable manufacturing experience?
