The Role As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and senior leaders to support high-quality teaching and learning across the school. You will be confident leading whole-class lessons, delivering interventions and helping pupils achieve their full potential. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. • Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. • Leading small-group and one-to-one interventions. • Assisting with the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress. • Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities. • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining high expectations. • Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils. About You The successful candidate will: • Hold HLTA status or possess significant experience in a similar role. • Have recent experience working within a primary school setting. • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills. • Be confident delivering lessons across different year groups. • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Be passionate about supporting children to succeed both academically and personally. • Be flexible, proactive and committed to inclusive education.
