• Position: Learning Support Assistant • Contract: Permanent • Hours: Part Time, Term Time Only (8:30am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday) • Salary: Hampshire Grade C, Scale Points 1 to 5 • Start Date: September 2026 Join a Welcoming Hampshire Infant School A well-established and highly regarded Infant School in Hampshire is seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join its supportive team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing and inclusive school environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning. About the School The school is a welcoming and inclusive infant setting where children are at the heart of everything it does. The Role The successful candidate will: • Support pupils within the classroom, individually and in small groups. • Provide learning support to help children access the curriculum. • Encourage children's confidence, independence and social development. • Work closely with teachers and other support staff. • Assist with the emotional, behavioural and educational needs of pupils. • Promote a safe, positive and engaging learning environment. The Ideal Candidate Will: • Be passionate about supporting young children. • Have experience working with children within a school, childcare or similar setting. • Be patient, caring and supportive. • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Be able to work effectively as part of a team. • Demonstrate flexibility, commitment and a positive attitude.
