Primary PE Teacher | Hackney Primary School | September 2026 Location: Hackney, East London Salary: Inner London Main Pay Scale (MPS1-MPS4) Contract: Full-time | Permanent Start Date: September 2026 Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher with a passion for Physical Education? SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a thriving 2-form entry primary school in Hackney to recruit an outstanding Primary PE Teacher for September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring PE lessons across the primary phase, helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong appreciation for healthy, active lifestyles. Your Responsibilities As the school's PE Teacher, you will: Deliver high-quality PE lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Plan engaging learning sequences that challenge and motivate pupils of all abilities. Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations. Create an inclusive learning environment where every child can participate and succeed. Lead extracurricular sports clubs and contribute to the school's enrichment programme. Organise sporting events, competitions and annual whole-school sports initiatives. Support colleagues with the development of PE across the curriculum where appropriate. Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing. We're Looking For The successful applicant will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching PE within a primary setting. Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and an enthusiasm for delivering engaging, practical lessons. Be committed to raising achievement and encouraging participation in physical activity. Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues. Bring energy, creativity and a collaborative approach to school life.
