Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work in local Primary Schools in and around the Colchester area to start September 2026. Experience with SEN/SEMH is essential. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS • Location - Colchester * Position - Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant * Contract or position start date - September 2026 * Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing * Contract type - Long-Term Temporary * Full time/part time - Part time to Full time * Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £95-110 per day * Hours -8.30 am - 3pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • Previous TA/LSA experience • GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application * Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
