Key Roles & Responsibilities • Deliver guided reading, phonics, and basic numeracy support to small pupil groups. • Provide crucial 1:1 assistance to specific pupils with special educational needs (SEND). • Support the lead teacher with administrative tasks, learning setups, and classroom displays. • Implement the school's positive behaviour policy, keeping children motivated and focused. • Help monitor and safeguard the well-being of pupils during indoor and outdoor activities. • Record student progress observations and report insights directly to the teaching team. Requirements for the Role • Genuine experience working with or supporting children (schools, tutoring, sports coaching, nurseries). • A solid academic foundation with GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics. • A patient, proactive, and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills. • A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to apply for one). • High adaptability and a passion for working within a collaborative educational team.
