Job description

About the roleTradewind Recruitment is working with well-organised primary schools across Brent to find a confident Year 4 Teacher for September 2026. Positions are available on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your availability. In Year 4, pupils develop greater independence as learners. You will deliver the KS2 National Curriculum with creativity and rigour, with a particular focus on times tables fluency - including preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check - reading for pleasure, written composition and mathematical reasoning. You will use assessment data to personalise learning and plan effective interventions, working collaboratively with teaching assistants and SENCO staff to support pupils with SEND and EAL. Planning is often shared across the year group, keeping workload manageable and expectations consistent across classes.
