Year 5 Class Teacher Location: Luton Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Fixed-Term until April 2027 Pay Rate: £150 - £250 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications) Employer: Reed Education Reed Education is proud to be working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Luton seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 until April 2027. The Role As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will: • Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum. • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils and support academic progress. • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil attainment and development. • Establish high expectations for behaviour and achievement. • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desirable). • Has previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2. • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills. • Is committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons. • Has excellent communication and organisational skills. • Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
