EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Hourly Rate: £14.63
• Location: Rural Lancaster
• Job Type: Full time (minimum 32.5 hours per week)
• Must hold a relevant early years qualification
We are seeking an EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in a rural Lancaster school. This role involves supporting early years education, with opportunities to engage in additional hours at our breakfast and after-school clubs.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Assist in the delivery of daily activities and educational programs within the early years setting.
• Support the development and learning of young children through play-based activities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to plan and organise lessons and materials.
• Observe and record children’s progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Availability to work additional hours at breakfast club and/or after school club is desirable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Must hold a Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and child development.
