Looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant role this September?The Supply Register is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Grantham to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September 2026.

About the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils both academically and socially, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
This is a classroom-based role supporting pupils throughout the school day and contributing to their overall progress and development.
Key Responsibilities
• Support teaching and learning within the classroom
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and daily routines
• Deliver small-group interventions where required
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience working with children in an education or care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
This Role Is Not Suitable If:
• You have no experience working with children
• You are seeking non-education-based work
• You are unable to commit to full-time school hours
• You are not comfortable working in a classroom environment
