Associate Flood Risk Consultant Location: Manchester Salary: £60,000 - £97,000 Join a leading consultancy in Manchester as an Associate Flood Risk Consultant and make a tangible impact on flood risk management projects across various sectors. The Opportunity As an Associate Flood Risk Consultant, you will be at the forefront of tackling challenges such as climate change and urbanization. You will lead a team in delivering high-quality flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using tools like TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, and InfoWorks ICM. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage flood risk projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction. - Conduct hydraulic modelling and data analysis to support project delivery. - Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment. - Engage in business development activities, including tendering and client engagement. - Produce high-quality client-facing reports and presentations. Candidate Requirements - Degree in Geography, Science, or Civil Engineering, with Chartered status (CIWEM or ICE). - Significant experience in flood risk management and project delivery. - Proficiency in 1D-2D modelling tools such as TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, and InfoWorks ICM. - Strong leadership and project management skills. - Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
