Job description
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Print Finisher to join a busy production team. If you have hands-on experience with commercial print finishing equipment and take pride in producing high-quality work, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Print Finisher, you will carry out a range of print finishing processes to ensure all printed materials meet the highest quality standards and client specifications. You’ll work closely with our print and design teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate guillotines safely and accurately.
• Complete PUR binding for books and brochures.
• Perform die cutting of printed products.
• Produce saddle-stitched booklets.
• Operate folding, laminating, creasing, perforating and other finishing equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed work.
• Pack and prepare finished jobs for dispatch.
• Carry out routine equipment maintenance and report faults.
• Collaborate with print and design teams to meet production deadlines.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
• Proven experience in print finishing.
• Experience operating guillotines, PUR binders, die cutters and stitching equipment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial print production.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
Desirable:
• Commercial print industry experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
• Full, clean driver’s licence.
• Forklift licence or experience.
