Private Client Solicitor – Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
£55,000 – £65,000 DOE + Flexible Working + Career Development

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Aylesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and self-sufficient private client lawyer looking for greater autonomy, high-quality work and the chance to develop and grow an established private client offering within a respected regional practice. You will take ownership of a profitable caseload while benefiting from the support of a collaborative and experienced wider Private Client team.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, advising individuals, families and elderly clients on a broad range of issues including estate planning, wealth preservation and estate administration. This role is particularly suited to a Solicitor who enjoys building strong client relationships, working independently and developing a successful private client practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a full private client caseload from instruction through to completion
• Provide expert advice on Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts and Estate Administration
• Handle complex and taxable estates
• Deliver exceptional levels of client service and care
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Identify opportunities to develop and grow the department locally
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Private Client team
• Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and firm procedures
Candidate Requirements
You will ideally have:
• 4-8 PQE in Private Client law
• Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts and Estate Administration
• Experience managing your own caseload independently
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
• The confidence to work autonomously while remaining part of a wider team
• STEP qualification or progress towards STEP accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential
Salary & Benefits
• Competitive salary of £60,000 – £75,000 depending on experience
