This position is ideally suited to a solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You will play a key role in advising a diverse client base on a broad range of private client matters, delivering practical legal solutions and exceptional client service while helping to further develop the department's reputation and growth. The RoleThe successful candidate will manage a varied and high-quality caseload, advising clients on a range of private client matters including: • Wills and estate planning • Probate and estate administration • Lasting Powers of Attorney • Court of Protection matters • Deputyship applications • Trust creation and administration • Inheritance Tax planning • Wealth preservation and succession planning • Lifetime gifting and estate structuring You will be responsible for: • Managing files from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional referrers. • Providing clear, practical and commercially aware legal advice. • Conducting client meetings both in person and remotely. • Drafting legal documentation to a high standard. • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and risk management requirements. • Supporting junior team members where appropriate. • Contributing to business development and networking initiatives. • Assisting with the continued growth and success of the Private Client department. About YouTo be considered for this opportunity, you will have: • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Private Client law. • Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, Trusts, LPAs and Estate Planning. • Experience managing a varied caseload independently. • Excellent client care and relationship management skills. • A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with sensitive client matters. • Strong organisational and time management abilities. • Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude towards business development. • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
