About the role The successful Vulnerable Client Lawyer will work on a varied caseload, supporting vulnerable individuals and their families through often complex legal matters. The role offers a balance of office-based work, hybrid working and client visits. Key responsibilities include: • Court of Protection work across varying levels of complexity • Advising clients on care fee funding and NHS Continuing Healthcare claims • Preparing wills, including complex wills and Advance Directives • Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney • Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and families • Working closely with a highly experienced and supportive specialist team • Visiting clients, care homes and external locations where required What we are looking for The ideal Vulnerable Client Lawyer will have: • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX status • Approximately 3+ years' relevant legal experience (some flexibility) • Experience within Private Client, Court of Protection, LPAs or related areas • The ability to manage matters with minimal supervision • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • A compassionate and professional approach • A genuine interest in developing expertise within vulnerable client work What's in it for you • Salary depending on experience - get paid what you are worth • Bonus scheme with uncapped earning potential • Hybrid working (typically 3 days office / 2 days home following induction) • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays • 5% employer pension contribution • Free parking • Supportive and highly social team environment • Strong career progression opportunities • Exposure to specialist and high-quality legal work • Join a growing team with excellent staff retention and long average lengths of service About the company This established South East law firm is known for investing in its people, promoting from within and providing a collaborative working environment.
