Bank Process Technician - Sterile Services Stoke HSSU Hub | Sterile Services Unit (ST5 7UF) | Bank Contract | Part Time/ weekend work £12.84 per hour + 20% enhancement for weekends Please note this is not based at the Clayton Nuffield Hospital. post code ST5 7UF If you're enthusiastic, motivated and you've previously worked in a sterile services environment, this is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's largest Healthcare Charity. As a Process Technician at our Stoke HSSU Hub, you'll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You're organised with good communication skills - and ideally, you're able to show evidence of sterile services training. As a Process Technician, you will: • Dismantle and prepare and sterilise Medical Instruments ready for Theatre Surgery. • Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard. • Help to ensure all equipment is in good working order. • Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults. • Work with a strong friendly team. • Take on training as required. • Be computer literate. • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment. • Take action to resolve any problems. • Escalate issues where necessary. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures. • Handle manual handling duties up to 13kg. • Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.
