Job description

Procurement Manager Location: Birmingham (Hybrid) Salary: £52k per annum We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and deliver professional procurement, commercial and contract management support across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering compliant, value-driven procurement activity while supporting strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end procurement exercises using Framework Agreements and Find a Tender where appropriate. • Lead tender processes, including preparing tender documentation, evaluation criteria and supplier communications. • Manage procurement and contract activity throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract changes and terminations. • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. • Ensure compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR15), the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) and Managing Public Money principles. • Maintain procurement records and contracts database, producing accurate management information and reports. • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and procurement efficiencies. • Support the Head of Procurement & Contracts in delivering strategic procurement objectives. About You • Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement activities. • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement legislation, including PCR15 and PA23. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities. (spend analysis) • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • MCIPS qualified or working towards qualification (desirable).
