Role: Procurement Officer Rate: Up to £450 per day Location: Sale, Manchester Job Type: Temporary until January 2027 A public sector business is looking to add to the team. They are seeking a Procurement specialist who can help with delivery and improvement in growth and service reform. Key Responsibilities • Deliver procurement projects across a range of service areas, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and value for money. • Act as a trusted procurement advisor, providing expert guidance to stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle. • Manage compliant procurement exercises in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational procedures. • Develop high-quality tender documentation and oversee evaluation and contract award processes. • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities and achieve strategic procurement objectives. • Support effective supplier and contract management to maximise performance and mitigate risk. • Maintain robust procurement records and reporting to support governance and audit requirements. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement performance, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
