Job description

Location: Crawley Are you… an experienced Procurement professional with at least 3 years' experience? Strong negotiation skills, and a passion for sourcing the very best products for large-scale international projects? If yes, then this opportunity is not to be missed! Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected international supplier, supporting customers across multiple continents. Operating within a specialist sector, the business works closely with global manufacturers to deliver materials and equipment for major infrastructure and development projects worldwide. With an outstanding reputation built over many years, this is a varied and commercially focused role where you'll become an integral part of a busy Projects team, managing procurement activities from initial enquiry through to successful order placement. Daily responsibilities might range from: • Sourcing products from UK manufacturers and negotiating the most competitive prices • Preparing quotations for international infrastructure and construction projects • Reviewing customer RFQs and ensuring all quotations are technically and commercially compliant • Building strong relationships with existing suppliers whilst identifying new sourcing opportunities • Managing multiple projects and quotation deadlines simultaneously • Following up quotations and working proactively to convert enquiries into confirmed orders • Placing purchase orders and coordinating supplier deliveries • Conducting supplier due diligence and maintaining accurate procurement records • Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout each project • And more!
