Job description

Product Development Manager - Bury St Edmunds - £60-75k (DOE) We are currently recruiting for a Product Development Manager on behalf of our fantastic client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. This is an exciting role sitting on the companies Senior Leadership Team, tasked with leading and shaping the future of it's Product Development capabilities. Salary: £60-75k (DOE) Hours: 08:00am-17:00pm Monday - Friday (40 hours) Role Responsibilities: • Lead and develop the companies product portfolio including New Product Development and enhancement of existing products. • Think creatively about how the companies current products can be brought into new markets. • Provide Technical direction ensuring that products meet customer requirements and operational capability. • Support the business in decision maiking through strong technical knowledge. • Leading your own team of 3 staff which would include R&D and Software Engineers. What are we looking for? • Strong Mechanical Engineering background. • Experience in bringing new products to market. • Ability to lead technical teams. • Commercial awareness and pragmatic decision making. • Strong communication and problem solving skills. • Experience dealing with HVAC, industrial products and technically complex manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
