Job description

Product Development Manager • Annual Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (DOE) • Location: Bury St Edmunds • Job Type: Full-time Join a thriving family-run business as a Product Development Manager. This pivotal role places you on the Senior Leadership Team, where you will lead and shape the future of the company's Product Development capabilities. Day-to-day of the role: • Lead and develop the company's product portfolio, including New Product Development and enhancement of existing products. • Innovate on how current products can be introduced into new markets. • Provide technical direction to ensure products meet customer requirements and operational capability. • Support business decision-making through strong technical knowledge. • Lead a team of 3, including R&D and Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong background in Mechanical Engineering, ideally at a degree level. • Proven experience in bringing new products to market. • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams. • Commercial awareness and pragmatic decision-making skills. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Experience in HVAC, industrial products, and technically complex manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
