Production Engineer

Production Engineer – Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing – Cannock Brooklyn Recruitment currently have an exciting role available in the Cannock area for a Production Engineer / Electrical Engineer within the electrical manufacturing sector. This role would suit someone with extensive electrical / control panel experience within a manufacturing environment dealing with projects from cradle to grave. This company have an excellent working environment with the building being light, bright and clean. You would be joining a strong Team Leading team so have lots of others to bounce ideas off etc. The company have a total workforce of around 200 but they still have a family friendly feel to it, where everyone is known by name and you even get your birthday off! As Production Engineer / Electrical Engineer you will be: • Supporting the NPI process. • Converting drawings to point to point. • Driving continuous improvement activities through SQCDP • Building relationships with your assigned customers. • Ensuring compliance to regulations. • Being technically responsible for your assigned new products. • Approving production hours. • Ensuring the accuracy of BOM’s. • Keeping customers updated on any timescales or issues. • Ensuring Health and Safety measures are adhered to. • Dealing with any quality concerns. • Confirming customer acceptance. • Recording downtime and finding ways to limit it. • Other duties as required.
