This role is crucial for overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety while meeting budget and time constraints. Day-to-day of the role: • Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high quality and safety standards. • Plan production schedules, manage resources and budgets, and supervise staff to ensure optimal workflow and productivity. • Monitor quality control processes and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. • Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and manage raw materials effectively. • Report on production performance to upper management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Production Manager, ideally in a sheet metal manufacturing environment. • Strong practical knowledge of Amada machinery and tools. • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities. • In-depth understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations. • Experience in reporting on key production metrics. • Outstanding communication ability. • Problem-solving aptitude.
